Lassen Volcanic National Park

Lassen Volcanic National Park is the southern most volcano in the Cascade Range and home to more than 60 active and extinct volcanoes. Among those are all four types of volcanoes, the cinder cone, the shield, the plug dome and the composite.
I found the landscapes to be so varied from one side of the park to the next that it needed two portfolios. Added to the already differing environments was my arriving less than two years after the Dixie Fire of 2021 that burned more than 69% of the park land.
